This final appearance marks Hurkacz’s 13th career ATP Tour final and his first since competing in Geneva back in May 2025.
Hurkacz, a former world No. 9, has faced challenges this season due to injuries and a subsequent decline in world rankings following his return from a long-term injury layoff in January. Despite these setbacks, the Polish player is now aiming to capture his first ATP title since his comeback.
