Polish President Karol Nawrocki is set to attend the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York this September. During his visit, he will deliver a speech at the General Debate, which is scheduled to commence on September 22. This event will convene global leaders to discuss pressing international matters.
Accompanied by First Lady Marta Nawrocka, President Nawrocki’s visit to the United States is planned from September 20 to 23. Despite the timing of the visit, there are no current plans for a bilateral meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump. However, the two leaders have maintained ongoing communication, focusing on areas such as security and economic collaboration.
Beyond the UN engagement, President Nawrocki is also expected to return to the U.S. in December for the G20 Leaders’ Summit, which will be held in Miami. Poland’s invitation to participate in the summit highlights the country’s increasing significance in the economic and political discussions within the G20 framework.
