In a discussion on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, lead actor Matt Damon elaborated on the meticulous planning behind the giant sequence. The production team utilized performers of varying heights, casting stunt performers over seven feet tall to embody the giants. Meanwhile, shorter stunt performers were strategically placed to enhance the illusion of size through forced perspective.
Damon also expressed admiration for the efforts of his stunt doubles, highlighting a particular female stunt performer for her dedication and physical prowess. He personally acknowledged her contribution, appreciating the hard work involved in executing the demanding scenes.
